1. Purpose: The Mom Collective is committed to creating a community for moms by providing a platform where they can discover new hobbies, build meaningful friendships, and participate in events designed to offer enjoyment and support.

2. Eligibility: Membership to The Mom Collective is open exclusively to individuals who are over the age of 18, identify as mothers, and reside in Barcelona and its surrounding areas. By joining, you confirm that you meet these eligibility criteria.

3. Membership Fee:

- Freemium Membership: Membership is free of charge and includes access to community features, events, the Resource Hub, and the newsletter.

4. Membership Benefits:

- Freemium Membership Benefits: Freemium members enjoy access to community events (subject to availability and capacity), the Resource Hub with special offers and resources, and the community newsletter.

5. Event Guidelines: Members are required to book a spot for each event through The Mom Collective website.

6. Booking Cancellation: Members may cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the event to receive a refund (excluding the non-refundable Website Service Fee). This fee covers administrative costs associated with processing the booking.

- The Website Service Fee is only refundable if the event is canceled by The Mom Collective or if the cancellation is due to our error (e.g. technical issues).

- Within the last 48 hours before the event, members may transfer their spot to another member or cancel, but no refund will be provided.

- If The Mom Collective cancels an event, all members who booked spots will receive a full refund (including the Website Service Fee).

7. Membership Cancellation: Freemium members may request cancellation of their membership at any time by contacting us via email. Once removed, access to member features (including events, the Resource Hub, and the newsletter) will end. Event cancellation policies remain the same for all members.

8. Co-Hosting an Event: Members have the option to co-host events with The Mom Collective in two ways:

 

- Organise and Attend for Free: Members can organise an entire event for The Mom Collective and attend for free.
- Purchase Co-Host Ticket: When available for certain events, members can purchase a co-host ticket, which grants them 50% off the full price ticket. Co-hosts are expected to greet attendees, take photos, videos, etc. Additional details will be provided via email.

9. Code of Conduct: Members are expected to conduct themselves with respect, refrain from any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying, and contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in membership termination.

 

10. Right to Remove Members: To maintain the integrity of the community, The Mom Collective reserves the right to remove any member, with or without cause, at its discretion—particularly in cases of repeated violations of the code of conduct or failure to follow community guidelines.

 

11. Personal Data: Personal data is collected solely to enhance the membership experience. The Mom Collective is committed to safeguarding this information and will not share it with third parties. Please read our Privacy Policy.

 

12. Media Consent: By participating in The Mom Collective events, members consent to being filmed or photographed. Any media captured may be used by The Mom Collective for promotional purposes, including social media, website content, and other materials.

 

13. Updates and Amendments: The Mom Collective reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes, and the updated version will be posted on our website.

 

14. Disclaimer of Responsibility: While The Mom Collective diligently organises events for moms to attend, it's crucial to understand that we are not liable for any incidents that may occur during these events. Members attend events at their own risk, and The Mom Collective disclaims any responsibility or liability for such occurrences. We encourage members to exercise caution, be mindful of their surroundings, and report any concerns promptly to The Mom Collective team or venue staff.
